DR. MARIA MARTIN-D'IPPOLITO
MD, CCFP, Focus Practice Designation in Obstetrics & Gynecology
Dr. Martin-D'Ippolito is a dedicated physician committed to advancing reproductive healthcare and addressing disparities that affect underserved populations. She approaches care through a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive lens, fostering a safe and inclusive space for patients to discuss their reproductive health concerns.
Dr. Martin-D'Ippolito obtained a Baccalaureate in Arts, concentration Women's Studies from the University of Ottawa in 2005. After a decade working in the private, public, and non-profit sectors, she pursued medicine. She completed her medical education at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine in 2019 and Family Medicine residency at McMaster University in 2021. During residency, she focused her training on reproductive and gynecological health and now holds a Focused Practice Designation in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Martin-D'Ippolito has been working with and supporting programs at The Ottawa Hospital’s Shirley E. Greenberg Women’s Health Centre aimed at improving access to reproductive healthcare in the region. She currently has reproductive and gynecological health practices in-community at Novel Health and in-hospital ambulatory care at Renfrew Victoria Hospital.
